Santa Anita’s 9th race today (9/29) is the $250,000 Gr. I Rodeo Drive.  This race will consist of fillies and mares running a mile and a quarter over the turf course.

#11 – Marketing Mix (5-2) will be making her sixth start this year for trainer Tom Proctor and will be looking to improve on her second place finish in the Beverly D back at Arlington Park.  The Medaglia d’Oro filly has seven wins, three places, and one show from 14 career starts.  Garret Gomez will be in the saddle today.

The lone pace setter on paper is the two horse; Let’s Go Cheyenne (4-1).  The Vladimir Cerin trainee was last seen winning a small stakes back at Del Mar on August 24th.  The Tiznow filly has finished in the money seven out of her nine career starts.  Rafael Bejarano gets the mount on Let’s Go Cheyenne.

#12 – City to City (5-1) will be looking to improve upon her second place finish to Halo Dolly in the Gr. II Yellow Ribbon back at Del Mar.  The Jerry Hollendorfer horse has 30 career starts under her belt with eight wins, six seconds, and five thirds.  Joe Talamo will be up in the stirrups today.
