Saturday's 6th race (3:41pm PT) from Santa Anita Park is the Grade I Chandelier Stakes for 2-year-old fillies traveling a mile and a sixteenth on the main track.
#5 Beholder (3-1) almost upset today's fav #7 Executiveprivilege (6-5) in the G1 Del Mar Debutante Sept 1. Mandella's filly is getting better and can get the job done here if able to relax early under Gomez.

Executiveprivilege is 4-for-4 and will take all of the action for Baffert. Her Late Pace Ratings continue to shrink as does her margin of victory so she may not improve over a route of ground.
#8 Scarlet Strike (8-1) closed from far back and got valuable two turn experience in Del Mar graduation run Sept 2. Hollendorfer excels synthetic-to-dirt and she will try to get involved late under Talamo.
#2 Renee's Queen (12-1) earned her diploma in the $100k Oak Tree Juvenile Fillies Turf at Del Mar Sept 3. She was 2nd to Executiveprivilege in her synthetic sprint bow and worked well here 9-23.
The Plays:
$18 to win #5
$1 Trifecta 5-7/2-5-7-8/2-5-7-8 ($12)
