Sunday's 9th race (4:37pm PT) from Santa Anita Park is a Maiden Special Weight affair for 3-year-old fillies traveling one mile on the turf course.

#3 Indygo F M A (9-2) owns a rising numbers pattern and exits a rallying 4th vs. this kind after stumbling at the start. She finally lands a favorable post and Bejarano strings along.

#1 Dance Team (5-2) finished a solid 2nd (blinkers on) in her much needed downhill turf sprint return March 23. Gomez is clicking with Mandella recently and she figures in the hunt throughout from the hedge.

#4 Fine Assay (8-1) is training well for this and dam has tossed two turf winners. Gutierrez shows a profit with first grass runners and she could improve on the surface switch.

The Plays:

$18 to win #3

$1 Trifecta 1-3/ALL/4 ($12)
