Storm Castle gets ultimate equipment change at Santa Anita

Sunday's 9th race (4:37pm PT) from Santa Anita Park is a $75,000 Maiden Claiming event for 3-year-olds dashing six ane one-half furlongs on the turf course. 

#8 Storm Castle (6-1) blew the break in his Feb. 23 course/distance bow. The above average $85k son of solid turf sire Scat Daddy is reportedly a first time gelding and dam has tossed a grass winner. Espinoza sticks and Puype does solid work with second timers.

#3 Benedict Audrey (4-1) exits a prominent throughout, close-up show finish from post 10 at a flat mile here. He is tagged for the first time and looks like the type to succeed down the dip.

#11 Buckleberry Grey (5-1) shows up for sale after nine starts and he was competitive in both downhill sprints.

#4 Blue Cherokee (6-1) looms the target for the recently hot Krigger/O'Neill team (5 for last 7 together).

#6 Maxx the Giant (5-1) woke up in his first downhill start March 17 and may have found his niche in turf sprints.

#7 Horizontalyspeakin (6-1) debuts for the productive Bejarano/Gaines team.

Contenders before scratches: #11, 4, 6, 8. The #11 Buckleberry Grey (5/1) is definately the horse to beat if he goes. Horse has it all over this field in pace, speed and class. The favorite #3 is vulnerable due to second race off a layoff in a contentionus race. Bet #11 to win. Exacta 11/all. Tri...11/4,6,8,3/all. Good luck!!!
