Muchos Besos stretches out at Santa Anita

Sunday's 5th race (2:31pm PT) from Santa Anita Park is a $16,000 claiming event for 4-year-olds and up traveling one mile on the main track.

#1 Muchos Besos (5-1) owns three local wins and romped when he stretched out here last winter. He exits an encouraging place finish off a layoff at 6.5f here and figures to show speed from the rail.

#3 Graeme Crackerjack (6-1) was claimed out of a $10k win by Matt Chew on Jan. 16 and he ended up 3rd vs. $20k foes here Feb. 9. He drops a peg, has the numbers to compete in this spot, and Maldonado is riding well lately.

#7 Chicsdigtheshark (5-1) tailed off last fall and makes his first start in 4+ months. He fits with these on his best day and should flash early foot under Tyler Baze.

The Plays:

$18 to win #1

$3 Exacta 1/3-7 ($6)

$3 Exacta 3-7/1 ($6)

It's 9 1 7 4
5 1 7 couldn't see the 4th
quote 1 4 5 9 ...guess that was the 4th race as 5 is just up now and good price on the rail horse.
i will take the 3 with 4/7/8 1rst and 2nd. The #1 should get pace pressure from the outside.
1 4 5 9
contenders then 1 Muchos Besos 8 Mensa Heat 5 Big Wags Joe Carl 6 Gab Power 2 Mr. Candy Bar
Uncover the names of the horses, t_v, those are in the 6th.
I agree that the #1 is in form. However, in last 10 races, horse has not shown a preference for the distance. Therefore, I think this is a prep for a preferred sprint later on. My choice goes to the #8 Mensa Heat (7/2). Connections do not impress, however, gelding is a past classer that still has legs. Bet #8 to win. Exactas....8/ 5, 7, 1, 3(late speed)...and reverse. Good luck!!!
Bad race to think of applying logic to: too many firsters. Of those that have run the contenders are 3 Nooten 8 Bobby Z Man 7 Missing Groom 9 Cinematic Cat 10 Frensham 10 goes to the front and then 8 3 9 7 come later but there are too many babies here to apply logic.
