Wednesday's 6th race (3:36PM PT) from Santa Anita Park is an optional claiming event for 3yo's traveling a flat mile on the Pro-Ride surface. #2 Mr. Saturdaynight (6-1) does his best work in local synthetic routes. Sharp stalking type scurries back up the ladder, and Espinoza is 38% with Sadler recently. Holding form based on rock solid local drill on Feb 26th. #5 Bulldogger (9-5) earned above par speed fig in romping debut at the Spa (slop). Working well here and could be any kind. Probably the one to catch under Gomez. #3 Indian Firewater (5-2) has lost five straight, and his last two synthetic route figs show vulnerability. I’ll try to beat the probable underlay. The Plays: $24 to win #2, $8 Exacta Box 2-5 ($16)
