Sunday's 8th race (4:07pm PT) from Santa Anita Park is an Optional Claiming heat for 4-year-olds and up traveling nine furlongs on the main track.

#8 Planet Sunshine (5-2) was nabbed out of his last by resurgent conditioner Ted West. The consistent, versatile gelding is fresh and likes the local dirt oval.

Play Sunday’s Santa Anita Park games at DerbyWars.com.

#1 Tiz Dynamic (2-1) is sharp and should work out a decent ground saving tactical trip under Bejarano.

#5 Seeking the West (5-2) exits back-to-back strong local route efforts with the addition of blinkers. He reunites with winning pilot Mike Smith and will take them as far as he can.

The Plays:

$18 to win #8

$6 Exacta 8/1-5 ($12)
