#6 On The Virg (6-1) rallied for the place with the
rail at 30 feet last time. Better rail placement (15 feet) for the
stretch runner today, and he gets another furlong to play with. #5
Hyades (5-2) posted a sharp off the pace tally at this course/distance
in US bow. Can down this crew if able to avoid a bounce. #3 Riviera
Cocktail (3-1) was competitive versus the likes of Loup Breton and The
Usual Q. T. in last pair. This distance seems right, and he should be
tough in the optional claiming ranks.
