Love That Action switches surfaces at Santa Anita

$30.00
Amount Cashed:
$108.80

Friday's 5th race (3:03pm PT) from Santa Anita is a $40,000 claiming event for 4-year-olds dashing six furlongs on the main track.

#3 Love That Action (5-1) is back in for a tag off the shelf. He has been running on turf recently but graduated in a local dirt sprint and hails from a sharp, low profile barn (D'Amato). He dons the hood and should be finishing under Gomez.

#2 Senor Rain (8-5) missed a nose in a wet track flat mile claimer Jan 27 and Hollendorfer excels first off the claim. The early-pressing type is tough around one turn.

#6 Tummel (5-1) has won his last three local sprints and his last out $25k number works well here. He projects a tactical trip under Gryder the rider.

#5 Fast N Furius Cat (4-1) won off a layoff for new trainer Ted West at this course/distance Dec 31. He figures in the hunt throughout.

The Plays:

$18 to win #3

$1 Trifecta Key 3/2-5-6 ($6)

$1 Trifecta 3-5-6/2/3-5-6 ($6)

Not a bad day for me at most of Santa Anita and some Oaklawn. I think the +/- was +136, but I have to check again, not completely sure. Hope everyone had a good day today, and wish the best for everyone tomorrow. I might share some picks tomorrow, I did write a Play of the Day for tomorrow.
Sorry, $55 profit.
$40 bet, $95 cashed, $45 profit.
Sorry, $20 Show.
Rafirox hits it again!!!!!! The 4 did it!!! $10 WP, $15 Show.
I am playing WPS on the 4.
NEVERMIND. NOT PLAYING THE TRIFECTA. #4 WP(S)
Ok the seventh race..... Gonna play the #4 WPS, and tri 3-4/1-3-4-7/1-3-4-5-7.
$30 bet, $93 cashed. $63 profit. Again, not a bad cash.
Inquiry...... Hope it doesn't affect my cashing..
Whoooo!!! Hit the 8 $10 across! The 9??? Don't know what happened. Was the horses pulled up?? I dunno. Noentheless, nice cashing on the 8.
In the 6th.... Trying to beat the fave with the 8. also have a little bit of cash on the 9. Go 8 and 9!!!
1.44 ROI. TV: ABOUT. Stop picking on me ,tv. It was ABOUT. 1.44 roi EXACT. Happy now? It was a convenient bet, because I didn't bet much, but I got a decent amount in return.
quote: $50 bet, $72 cashed +$22, not a bad hit. It wasn't big, but it was convinent. About a 1.50 ROI Your math is very shaky
Nice trifecta call, Jarrod :). We both hit (however you had a better hit) :)
Love That Action was up the track but still managed to make a decent profit with my suggested Trifecta.
I wasn't expecting Senor Rain t be on the lead, I thought he would be a couple lengths off it.
$50 bet, $72 cashed +$22, not a bad hit. It wasn't big, but it was convinent. About a 1.50 ROI, so like i said, convenient. That was a very fun race to watch. Talamo gave Senor Rain a great ride. Senor Rain showed lots of guts hanging in. Talamo rode him nicely.
Well he got second! I had him $50 to place, so that was an ok hit! Let's see how much it pays, probably not much.
Senor Rain's Place pool isn't all that bad. Gonna bet $50 to Place on the #2 Senor Rain.
