Thursday's 6th race (3:37pm PT) from Santa Anita Park is a $12,500 claiming event for 4-year-olds and up which have never won two races. They will be traveling a mile and a sixteenth on the main track.

#4 My T Quick (4-1) could not overcome post 11 in a Starter Allowance turf route here on opening day. He can compete in this spot if able to duplicate course/distance place finish vs. similar local rivals Oct 30. Koriner excels turf/dirt and he projects an inner tactical trip at a hint of a price.

#5 Panther's Claw (7-2) exits a troubled trip in same turf race my top exits. He drops below his claimed price for Sadler and was headed in lone course/distance outing. Underlaid contender.

#12 The Hunt Is On (5-1) is 1-for-35 with 15 place finishes. He removes the hood and Rosario rides back. The 5yo gelding is an obvious exotics threat but tread lightly on the win end.

The Plays:

$17 to win #4

$1 Trifecta 4-5/4-5-12/4-5-12 ($4)
$1 Trifecta 4/12/ALL ($9)

4 has a good shot here moving later on the 12 The Hunt, who should have a good striking position...I can readily see why 5 is offered cheap as that one has shown NO ability to keep up with or to move late on this assembled field. An intriguing long shot is the two which has steadily improved and has to be considered in any exotic
