Sunday's 8th race (4:05pm PT) from Santa Anita Park is the Grade III Robert Frankel Stakes for fillies and mares traveling nine furlongs on the turf course.

#9 Appealing (4-1) fits with these if she runs back to her head defeat in the G2 Yellow Ribbon at Del Mar Sept. 2. She finished a flat 5th in the G2 Goldikova last time but reportedly had heat in her foot and Gallagher likes the way she is training for this. Resurgent rider Nakatani has always excelled on grass and won yesterday's graded turf feature aboard Unbridled's Note. She gets away from red hot rival Egg Drop and should offer a hint of value.
