POST TIME 6:35 EDT--Ten 4 year-olds will line up in the gate for what promises to be a contentious edition of the G2 San Fernando Stakes.  Four of the ten starters are Baffert trained with #4 Mile High Magic set to be one of your pace makers in this competitive affair.  He'll be tracked closely by #3 Regulus and #6 Handsome Mike with the latter getting blinkers today.  Expect a very honest pace and look for your winner to come from the next tier of horses sitting off that trio.  I have narrowed down my off-the-pace win candidates to #2 Fly Lexis Fly, #5 Guilt Trip and #9 Tribal Jewel.  My top choice from that bunch is going to be #2 Fly Lexis Fly.  Makes his second start off the two-month layoff after a good effort, hampered by a slow start, in a classy allowance heat.  Drysdale goes to blinkers and, while Bejarano and his agent had many choices, they opt for this contender.  I like the long steady drills leading up to this race as well.  He has improved in each and every race and a dirt surface is definitely his preference.  Will go on to run longer distances but should be set for a winning effort today.  Both #5 Guilt Trip and #9 Tribal Jewel can be considered sharp win contenders as each possess dangerous tactical speed with numbers that support a top-three finish when pace is considered.

The Wager:

$1 Trifecta 2,5,9 with 2,3,4,5,6,9,10 with 2,5,9 ($30)
