Warren's Flasher worth a look at Santa Anita

Friday's 7th race (4:05pm PT) from Santa Anita Park is an Optional Claiming event for fillies and mares traveling a mile and a quarter on the turf course (rail at 30 feet). 

#5 Warren's Flasher (6-1) is worth a play at a hint of a price. Profitable trainer Gutierrez runs his horses into shape and this might be her best yet in her 4th start off a layoff. Nothing wrong with the rider switch from Blanc to Talamo and she showed some signs of life on Cushion Track last time.

#8 Scooter Bird (4-1) won a 9f maiden turf race in May and got going too late at that same distance when last seen here Oct. 11. She figures to enjoy today's added furlong and Nakatani/Sadler are a profitable 3-for-11 together recently. 

#7 Level Headed (9-5) is a logical threat for the productive Stevens/Proctor team. She finished 2nd in her last two starts vs. this kind but was out of the top three in both local turf starts.
