Friday's 7th race (4:07pm PT) from Santa Anita Park is a $40,000 claiming event for 3-year-old fillies traveling one mile on the turf course (rail at 24 feet).

#6 Explosive Argument (5-1) exits an unplaced effort vs. Stakes sprinters at Fairplex. Prior to her last, she won a $40k claiming synthetic sprint at Del Mar, and she was 2nd in an Allowance turf route at Lone Star in June. Profitable trainer Keen has her in a realistic spot and solid grass rider Talamo hops aboard.

#9 Awe' Some Kitten (6-1) was not threat from post 10 vs. better local Optional Claming turf routers off the shelf Sept. 28. She beat this kind on turf at Del Mar July 21, including today's ML favorite Tebowing

#5 Tebowing (5-2) was claimed from Mitchell following a $32k synthetic route win at Del Mar and she threw her head at the break and never got involved for Canani last time. She graduated over the local weeds and will try to get involved late.

#2 Bares Tripper (3-1) removes the hood and switches to Bejarano. The speedy filly drops, switches surfaces, and stretches back out.

The Plays:

$17 to win #6

$3 Exacta Box 6-9 ($6)

.10 cent Superfecta 6-9/2-5-6-9/2-5-6-9/ALL ($7.20)
