#8 Hodge (2-1) graduated in his debut at this course/distance in 2011. Maldonado had options but decided to stay here and he is probably the one to catch 2nd off the shelf.

#4 Cunning Ride (4-1) has never raced for a tag this low. He graduated here and finished 2nd at this trip under today's rider Delgadillo at Del Mar Aug. 16.

The Plays:

$4 Exacta 6/4-8 ($8)
