Thursday's 6th race (3:30PM PT) from Oak Tree @ Santa Anita is a starter allowance sprint. #5 Winter Camp (9-5) is the fav, and he might be worth trying to topple. He dropped into a maiden claimer and easily graduated last time, but that was a 4f event at Fairplex. He meets other speed and faces tougher at a longer distance. If the pace gets hot, than #6 Gilligan (15-1) is worth a gander. He graduated in a synthetic sprint and sports a local bullet for this. #1 Peacenik (5-2) and #4 Eternally Fast (6-1) both disappointed in same Aug 21st synthetic sprint following sharp Calder debut wins.
