Purely Determined sits right stalking trip at Parx

Monday's 5th race (2:04pm ET) from Parx is a Starter Allowance event for 3-year-olds and up dashing six furlongs on the main track.

#8 Purely Determined (4-1) earned the best last race number in a determined wire job at Penn National Oct 12 and the early-pressing type beat today's morning line favorite #7 Grand Prelude (5-2) at Monmouth Aug 30. His connections are easy to like and he is an obvious threat if able to run two alike.

Grand Prelude exits back-to-back strong efforts vs. similar local sprinters and should sit a decent tactical trip for Team Moya.

The Plays:

$18 to win #8

$6 Exacta Box 7-8 ($12)

Thanks, Cognibene. Surprised the value held up after a trio of scratches but I'll gladly take it.
Quote: .your horse actually became the play after scratches and bet downs...some one who actually understand the game, nice to understand some have "gotten it."
Congrats Jarrod...your horse actually became the play after scratches and bet downs. Keep on 'pickin!!

front end, as per usual, looks like the place to be in Bensalem.
Contenders: #5, 1, 7. Go for the bomb in this one...#5 Freudian Dilemma (20/1)...why? Horse has best speed, pace, final and turn time ratings in the bunch. Also is the class of the race and the value. Parx is notorious for big prices on Mondays. Bet #5 to win....Exactas 5/all....tri...5/1, 8, 7, 6/all...and smile all the way to the bank. Good luck!!!
