Monday's 8th race (3:34pm ET) from Parx is an Optional Claiming event for 3-year-olds and up traveling a mile and seventy yards on the main track.

#5 Schist (6-1) exits a needed local 7f effort off a 5+ month layoff. Lynch excels sprint/route and 2nd off the shelf, and early-pressing types from middle posts perform well at this distance. The 3-time local winner has won four races at this trip and should offer value under barn $$ rider Rivera.

#4 Special Congrats (3-1) earned the best last race number in a clear place finish here Oct. 13.

#9 Marilyn's Guy (9-2) ran into BC Marathon 4th place finisher Suns Out Guns Out and next out winner On The Loose Again here last time. Scott Lake has him now and he should be forwardly placed.

The Plays:

$10 to win #5

$5 Exacta 5/4-9 ($10)

$5 Exacta 4-9/5 ($10)
