Rain is on the forecast this Saturday in Iowa with the temperature being 84 degrees.

My 3 Picks:

1- Red Lead
6- Going Ballistic
8- Brass Hat

My pick to win:

8- Brass Hat

Red Lead: A win and a third in 4 starts in this race distance. Good at Prairie Meadows also, has a win and a third in his 2 starts including a win last week. Will see if he can win 3 straight tomorrow.

Going Ballistic: Hasn't done anything impressive in his career, but he finished a charging 3rd on a muddy track at Hawthorne. Jockey M.C. Berry is 3 for 3 in 2 weeks coming to this event. A good risky bet.

Brass Hat: In his last 9 starts, he has been running on turf with good results. Returning to dirt in this race with 7 wins and 4 seconds in 21 starts. It's risky to pick him to win, but if he likes the wet, he'll be tough to beat.

$12 WP on 8= $24
$10 WP on 1-6= $40
$2 exacta on 1-6-8= $12
