Thursday's 6th race (7:35pm ET) from Presque Isle Downs is a $49,000 entry level Allowance event for fillies and mares dashing five and one-half furlongs on Tapeta footing.

#3 Real Peace (6-1) bettered her Final Time Ratings in all four career outings and exits back-to-back sharp local tallies. Early-pressing types from inner posts perform well at this distance and the fresh PA-bred miss can compete here with another forward move.

#1 The Amateur (8-1) disappointed as the favorite in a local state bred entry level spot Aug 25 and may have bounced because she was returning in twelve days. She smartly won two straight here prior to her last and she has much better spacing today. She projects a ground saving tactical trip from the cozy rail.
