Tuesday's 3rd race (6:15pm ET) from Presque Isle Downs is a $36,000 Allowance affair for fillies and mares which have never won two races. They will be dashing six and one-half furlongs on Tapeta footing.

#6 Spring Reason (4-1) finished well in a local sprint off a layoff July 16 and beat a next out winner by a nose from post 10 at a flat mile here Aug. 18. She cuts back 3rd off the shelf and will be finishing for the productive Sheppard/Pino team. Patient runners can win at this trip.

The Plays:

$10 to win, $20 to place #6
