Tuesday's 8th race (8:20pm ET) from Presque Isle is a $7,500 Maiden Claiming dash for 3-year-olds and up traveling six and one-half furlongs on Tapeta footing.

#3 Tiz the Gospel (8-1) needed his last in an okay 4th of 7 effort vs. this kind at 5.5f here June 29. The lightly raced colt has some upside and should appreciate today's added furlong. Morales is riding well here and got to know this one last out.

Contenders: #7, 9, 5, 8. Favorite #8 Readyfortheday (8/5) is legitimate. Choice to the #7 Ridge Defense (3/1)...class of the race. Good luck!!!
