Monmouth Park Play of the Day

Friday's 6th race from Monmouth Park is a $35,000 Maiden Claiming event for 3-year-olds and up traveling nine furlongs on the turf. #4 TOOTH AND NAIL (9-2) finished a wide 5th in a flat mile Belmont turf event May 22 and the winner returned to score again. Today’s added furlong helps and I was a big fan of his sire Eddington. #3 Tigresco (3-1) ran his best race at this $35,000 level with blinkers on last year.
