Do yourself a favor and watch this one's debut from Canterbury. She is going to be something special. Just insane. https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/race/usa/cby/2017/8/20/6/northern-lights-debutante-s
Last comment for now..Only "2" Grade 1s at age 3..only "2" at age 4.."only" 4 Grade 1 victories..including 2 that had a ridiculous inflated purse. This is not even including only 10 starts with 3 losses and losing his last 2 starts including a complete Flop..Hall of Fame horse?..All Timer?...The GOAT?...What the heck kind of Resume is this??..No offense but it is ridiculous and VERY disrespectful to Horse people like me and Horse racing in general to Annoint a horse with a resume like this as the next secretariat or as his trainer said, "Best horse since secretariat"...and i am gonna speak up for whats right sorry..in time if Arrogate proves himself worthy i will have NO problem giving him the respect he deserves
Just like Chrome, this horse will never get the respect he deserves. RIP
Dude, I still watch the replay over and over of your historic '14 Big Cap Win where you did the d a m n thing!
For all the people whom "somehow" claimed Chrome was "Overrated" and not an "All Timer"...Kentucky Derby Winner..Preakness Winner..Dubai World Cup Winner..Also ran 2nd in his other Dubai try..Put together a win streak of 6 two times..Once leading up to his Derby win and the other leading up the the 2016 BCC where he ran 2nd getting caught late at the wire by Arrogate..Averaged an 8 length margin of victory in his 7 victories in 2016..4 Eclipse Awards..2 Horse of the Year Awards..13 Stakes wins..7 Grade 1 wins..Close to $15 Million in earnings..27-16-4-1 Lifetime Record..Sorry but to me it certainly takes an All Timer to accomplish all of this..Perhaps if "Bob Baffert" trained Chrome the "Talking Heads" would call him an All Timer and Special..And certainly would never be called "Overrated"
When are they going to update it on race results?
Who did Littleprincessemma get bred for 2018?
Chasing Yesterday has pedigree of California Chrome and half American Pharoah. Should turn out to be an amazing filly. Best of luck.
Princeofthebes might have his name changed, but younger brother to grand slam winner American Pharoah, American Cleopatra, and St. Patrick's Day. Good luck to Princeofthebes.
Arrogate fans on "Suicide Watch" on his page..Figured i would come over to see how things are doing in the "Chrome Camp"
Why is this horse still number 1? And any update on his next race?
Does anyone think St. Patrick's Day and Zatter are running in the Del Mar Futurity? If I had to guess, I would say only Zatter.
Full brother to the grand slam winner, American Pharoah. Also full brother to St. Patrick's Day, and American Cleopatra. Looks amazing the last time I saw a picture of him. Best of luck to the horse of 2019, Irish Pharoah.
And the jockey silk is awful. Just all dark blue? I liked the one that was on here before he raced, the silk with an orange circle and blue surrounding it. Please change his silk Mrs. Magnier. It is plain and non interesting.
The fact that St. Patrick's Day didn't have a good start, but rushed right out quickly, to take the inside spot, shows that he could of easily won that race if it wasn't his first. I agree with pointgiven23, I think Zatter is a horse that is for shorter furlongs. And in the last 100 yards, St. Patrick's Day looked like he was just jogging, and only lost by 1.5 lengths to an amazing time by Zatter. St. Patrick's Day also galloped after the race showing he had a lot of stamina left, which is a good sign. Looks great form what I saw, and the more he races, the better he will get.
Off Topic..Many writers wrote articles agreeing and disagreeing on if Bayern should have been DQd in the 2014 BCC..Andrew Beyers article was the worst piece of logic i ever read..He compared Bayern to a last second pass with contact between the players in a Super Bowl..And a player driving to the basket with contact in final seconds of an NBA game..His claim was the referees should let the play happen wit no foul called being the circumstances..This comparison is obnoxiously ridiculous..number 1 those plays are at the END of the game..ton of diff plays during an entire game..an NBA/NFL game is not determined by ONE play..in horse race you dont have up to 70 plays (ways to win)..Bayern knocked Shared Belief out of the race right out of the gate in a 2 minute race..He didnt have 60 minutes to make all kinds of plays to get back into the race or win the race..Once a horse gets impeded to that magnitude he does not have "4 quarters" and "70 plays" to try and win..Andrew Beyer had on his "Dunce Cap" writing that article
Honor Code could have been the greatest closer other than Zenyatta this 21 century so far... could have possibly been the Kentucky Derby winner had he not gotten injured and the same thing could be said for Violence who gotten injured in 2013
I cannot find any info, but did horse bleed?
The solar eclipse was amazing today.
If terra promessa runs Saturday in the personal ensign I have a strong feeling she knocks off songbird
