I'd love to see "Winx" Vs "Almanzor" in a 10f race, that would be a MOUTH-WATERING clash, 2 turf SUPERSTARS going at it, in what would be a totally epic duel!!!! :-D
  • DonnysDeadBrainCells via Disqus · No, it wouldn't, Almanzor would destroy her. · 1 hour ago
Besides the 6 millions green reason to start Arrogate in the Dubai World Cup. I think the race itself will make it easy for his connections to map out the rest of his 2017 campaign. After the DWC, Arrogate can have a nice long freshening getting ready for repeating the BCC win. Also it will cement his legacy even if he wins nothing else after the DWC (particularly achieving the NA top earning record and breaking the track records for 3 consecutive races).
Midnight Storm worked 6f, February 21st, in 1:13.00 (h) finishing 6/10.
Enola Gray worked 4f, February 21st, in 48.60 (h) finishing 15/35.
Battle of Midway worked 4f, February 21st, in 49.80 (h) finishing 31/35.
Guest Suite worked 4f, February 21st, in 48:00 (b) finishing 1/12.
One major thing we found out about this Race. This years Derby winner will not be coming out of this Bunch. Unless Baffert ships in a Monster that has yet to of run. This years Derby winner will not be coming from the State of Arkansas
I would be shocked if Dubai is not the next stop.
Baffert has Mastery ready to roll it seems like after today's work. 6f in 1:12. I am expecting nothing less then a win in the San Felipe.
After Arrogate's work this morning here is the comment from Juddmonte's racing manager. Garrett O'Rourke, manager of Juddmonte Farms, added that while all options are being weighed, a trip to Dubai is the front-runner so long as Arrogate continues to give off the right signals. "The horse is sound, he is in super form, and Bob said there is difficulty keeping him on the ground when he gets too high," O'Rourke said. "The easiest way to keep him on the ground is let him work and let him run. We don't want to be hard on him and (Juddmonte owner) Prince Khalid is very clear he wants (Arrogate) to be fresh come the end of the year. "If there was any doubt about that, we wouldn't even consider going. But the horse seems to be in an exceptionally good state physically and mentally. We'll discuss the case and if Prince Khalid agrees, I think we'll roll the dice."
Has been working well. If Baffert is going to add another Derby onto his resume I think Mastery is his best shot at it.
  • pointgiven23 via Disqus · his last work was superb. I think he's got a great chance as long as we see further improvement in his 2 races.. They must make them both count. · 4 days ago

Per DRF, Mastery to the San Felipe & American Anthem to the Rebel S.
I am going to be one of the few on here who hopes they do not ship him to Dubai. I want to see him go to the Big Cap and win. He is much improved and is ready for a big 2017
Arrogate with another brilliant workout this morning. :59 for 5f and and galloped out 6f in 1:12 3/5. At this point with the way he is working Dubai seems like the place he should go too. He worked in the company of Whisky Ticket who got 1:00 1/5 for 5f.
One more Derby prep for One Liner. Pletcher said races like Fla. Derby , Wood or Blue Grass likely next and final prep for One Liner .
I'm so convinced that she lost the filly and mare turf because Irad strangle her back early instead of letting her use her tactical speed early and find good position instead of being in the back that way Queen's Trust would of ran out of ground. Irad have a tendency to strangle her back on some occasions what he needs to do is just stay out Lady Eli way early and let her do her stuff and when they get to the top of the stretch just ask her for her best. She's really not a difficult horse to ride
Uncontested had no response when they came to him. Cheap speed.
Out of the 11 hole who!! thought Oneliner would not win down the back stretch, but he keep finding more. This was a tough race interested how Oneliner comes back.
the 1999 Belmont im wondering if he never had got the injury could he won the triple crown
With 102 BSF and 124 TimeformUS for the Southwest Stakes, One Liner is now the fastest 3YO in training!!!
