Saturday's 6th race (2:56pm EST) This week the dirt surface at Laurel Park has been kind to early speed. If a little overnight rain and/or track maintenance didn't change the way it's been playing, FLYING FORWARD (5-1) is The Play of the Day on the 9 race card.

He's lone speed! Even though he'll be asked to go 7 furlongs today, one further than he has ever traveled in his 14 race career, this 4-year-old son of Fusaichi Pegasus should get the distance.

At 5-1 in a field of 7, he's the 4th choice. For these odds, I prefer a "progressive" WPS wager as follows...
