Solid Appeal returns for quality connections at Keeneland

Wednesday's 8th race (4:42pm ET) from Keeneland is a $62,000 allowance event for fillies and mares traveling a mile and a sixteenth on the turf course.

#12 Solid Appeal (8-1) is marooned in the outside post but leading rider Rosario takes the call and I trust her sharp new pilot to work out a trip at playable odds. She has run fresh before, shows four local works for this, and her last win was at this distance on turf. I'll play the returnee to win-place in a wide open grass race.

The Plays:

$12 to win, $18 to place #12
