In Lingerie faces older in Spinster

Sunday's 8th race (4:49pm ET) from Keeneland is the Grade I Spinster for fillies and mares traveling a mile and an eighth on Polytrack.

#5 In Lingerie (9-2) is 2-for-2 on Polytrack and has the numbers and talent to be competitive versus older. She gets away from fleet filly Questing and was a clear, distant 2nd to that rival at ten panels last time. Johnny V rides her will and I like her running style versatility.

#7 Upperline (12-1) has fired Exacta shots in 7 of 10 synthetic outings and she does some of her best work at nine furlongs. The fresh, consistent mare has won here before.

#11 Mystical Star (6-1) is 2-for-2 at this course/distance and won the G2 New York on turf earlier this year. The fresh miss is a versatile threat at a hint of a price.

#3 Aruna (7-2) won this last year and will try to get involved late under Dominguez. Her numbers are not as strong this year and she might take too much win action.

#12 Karlovy Vary (15-1) reunites with winning pilot Lanerie and she won the G1 Ashland here in the spring.

The Plays:

$12 to win #5

.50 cent Trifecta 5-7-11/3-5-7-11-12/3-5-7-11-12 ($18)

Synthetic is definitely to her liking

Nice effort by In Lingerie. Nailed the Trifecta as well.

3 5 or 6 wild guess

Loving the odds on Upperline.

The #5 is a good choice having top connections and form. However, I'm going with the #6 Tis Miz Sue for the following reasons...This is a 5 y.o. mare as opposed to a 3 y.o. filly (#5). This horse has the best pace, speed figures and final time going into this race. And exits an ultra key race where two horses came back to win in a G1 race. The price is right and I will bet #6 to win and take exactas with #1, #5, and #10. Good luck!!!
