The Alcibiades comes up with a lot of babies(2 year olds) shipping for the first time.  Some haven't been two turns.  It's basically a crap shoot.  I will center on a longshot name Cheerleader.  His lone effort came at Hoosier Park, drawing off by 6 1/2 lengths at 5 1/2 furlongs.  Not sure if he can swing the two turns, but, that's why it's a crap shoot.

Other horses that I'll box in an exacta with Cheerleader are:  (1)Putthebabiesdown - coming into this race with three turf efforts.  Travelled the running distance today in last effort, never backing up, but staying put 3 lengths back the entire race.  Adding Lasix for the first time today; (4)Tu Endie We - shipping in from Woodbine, where he went 2-for-2, earning $182K in Canadian money; (6)Egg Drop - won in his lone effort at Del Mar going 5 1/2 furlongs.  Joe Talamo comes in to ride him back; (8)New Wave - Picks up the services of Julien Leparoux, who has had good meets at Keeneland; (9)And Why Not - very impressive in his debut at Saratoga @ 6 1/2 furlongs.  His last effort at 7 furlongs, he got off slow, and his race may have been compromised from that point forward.  Lost Leparoux, but is picking up Garrett Gomez; (10)Frolic's Revenge - shipping in from Calder.  Showed a little more staying power, once he tried 2 turns in his last two efforts.

Now the play:  $10W; $20P; $40S on (12)Cheerleader; $5 Exacta Box:  1-12; 4-12; 6-12; 8-12; 9-12; 10-12.  Total bet - $130.
