Thursday's 8th race (4:52PM ET) from Keeneland is the Jessamine Stakes for 2-year-old fillies traveling a mile and a sixteenth on the turf.

#4 Accept (8-1) won her flat mile turf bow at Ellis and returned to finish a rallying, close-up 3rd in the Happy Ticket Stakes on the Super Derby undercard at Louisiana Downs. She reunites with winning pilot Lebron and Maker is 23% blinkers on. The $100,000 Keeneland sales grad is versatile and on the upswing.

#7 Miss Inclined (20-1) graduated on the turf second time out at Arlington Park and the place finisher from that heat was a next out winner. She exits a respectable 5th of 13 in the Grade 3 Arlington-Washington Lassie and should appreciate a return to turf footing for the 36% Castanon/Von Hemel team.

#9 Silent Joy (4-1) ran into the promising Winter Memories in her first start vs. winners over yielding ground at Belmont Oct 3. She smartly nabbed her turf sprint bow and it remains to be seen if she really wants two turns.

#10 Lauren Byrd (3-1) also won turf sprint bow and finished a wide 4th in a similar Saratoga turf route Sept 1. She will probably take too much action for Gomez/Pletcher.

#11 Kathmanblu (7-2) beat Lauren Byrd in the P.G. Johnson Stakes last time and has run well in both turf route starts.

The Plays: $18 to win #4, 50 cent Trifecta 4-7/4-7-9-10-11/4-7-9-10-11 ($12)

There is little to suggest that the speedy 8 Ms Anna Destiny and 2 K C LEEcan transfer to the lawn, but these being babies, a speedy history like that helps. Down the lane it is a trio of 11 Kathmanblu 10 Lauren Bird 13 and Jinny Jump Up

I think the Romans horse, the 8 Ms Anna Destiny, may be a key horse at large price. Won maiden in nearly two seconds less than Accept at Ellis, working up a storm, and despite the small 15k price tag she's still shares the same sire as Goldikova with Anabaa. Also, I think you should just play Leparoux in general at Keeneland, he's on fire, and when he's not winning he seems to bring some kind of price play into the exotics. All in all the Jessamine is a great betting race, and will likely reward any winner.
