Will be aimed at making her next start in the Prix Morny where she'll likely go up against another undefeated G3-winning filly in Zonza amongst others!
Right now Brametot's course for the rest of the year is as follows - August 15th is his planned return in the Prix Guillaume d'Ornano - Haras du Logis Saint-Germain in Deauville, then the plan is to take him on his first trip out of France to contest the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown before being aimed at his year end goal of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. They're being as ambitious with him as they probably should have been with Almanzor last year. It's a pretty big ask for a colt whose running style is consistently going from last to first!
Baffert said this morning that he is not sending Mor Spirit , Cupid or Arrogate to Saratoga for the Whitney...Looks like Gun Runner is going to take home another G1.

Very positive reviews of Del Mar dirt surface, particularly new banking, from riders. Kickback said to be "10 times better."
What ever happened to Big Trouble...
Even clever people can be ignorant to the obvious, maybe it's the counsel that surrounds them? Trainer is not in Question..Just the possibility of change. Wisdom of a matter usually reveals through time..Classic Empire is of main concern. ..You out there Clever One?

From this morning's Racing Post web-site: Trainer Saeed Bin Suroor has revealed that Thunder Snow's autumn campaign will be geared around getting him to Ascot for the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes on British Champions Day in October. Suroor said Thunder Snow will likely swerve running in the upcoming G1 Sussex Stakes at Goodwood in favor of a return trip to France for the G1 Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville at a mile. Suroor said the G1 Juddmonte International Stakes over 10-1/2f at York is also under consideration for Thunder Snow as well. According to the article, he will also return to Dubai for the 2018 Dubai Carnival where he will aimed at the G1 Dubai World Cup itself.
Horse to beat in the Sanford on Saturday in my opinion.
Looks like he'll be waiting at least a week to run as he wasn't entered Saturday. Kind of thought that after seeing him work a few days ago at Santa Anita and not on the main track at Delmar.
Did as she was expected in Winning her debut. Broke slow, rushed to keep contact with the 2nd choice and ran by her in the stretch for a good looking win in 58 flat. The track was a bit deep so the time should hold up pretty good. I wonder if she'll train up to the Debutante or look to Saratoga for the 2nd round of stakes there. She's a good one
Finley'sluckycharm worked 4f, July 19th, in 50.54 (b) finishing 43/55.
This is a really good 5 horse field. I'm really looking forward to this race.
McCraken worked 6f, July 19th, in 1:13.60 (b) finishing 1/1.
Sadler's Joy worked 5f, July 19th, in 1:03.61 (b) finishing 2/3.
She was back jogging today. Looks like they are going to try to get her 1 prep and if that goes well she is going to the Breeders Cup. Would be some comeback story if she could win it.
According to Godolphin's twitter, Frosted is about to embark to Australia for the SH breeding season. There's a great video of him really enjoying himself in his paddock. He looks phenomenal. You'll have to scroll down the feed but the video is worth it :) https://twitter.com/godolphin?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor
Jockey Ana O'Brien, daughter of trainer Aidan O'Brien, suffered a horrific fall yesterday evening at Killarney Racecourse in Ireland that left her with 3 vertebrae fractures at C1, T5, & T6, and both cheekbones fractured bilaterally. Thankfully for the O'Brien family though, an MRI scan revealed no brain trauma or injuries. The incident occurred 2 furlongs out in a 1 mile Rated Race at Killarney when Druids Cross, ridden by Ana O'Brien and trained by older brother Joseph O'Brien, was bumped into by St Galen ridden by jockey Shane Foley. Druids Cross instantly lost his footing and sent Ana crashing to the ground. The horse sadly suffered fatal injuries in incident. The article on the Racing Post web-site says she is expected to be out of action for at least 3 to 4 months.
Only one question...by how many ?
