Retire him to stud for 7.5k in NY He is very inconsistent and throws a clunker in half his races....
BREAKING: Doug O'Neill has released the following statement on the condition of Irap. "Irap is resting comfortably in his stall. Irap sustained a fractured sesamoid. He is scheduled for surgery Monday morning at New Bolton with world renowned surgeon Dr. Dean Richardson who operated on Barbaro. Attending will be our own Dr. Ryan Carpenter who will be flying out to assist. Please continue to keep Irap in your prayers. Thank you!"
I'm so worried .... on O'Neill's twitter....Irap is resting comfortably in his stall....scheduled for surgery....that's all it said ....
I haven't been this excited to see a horse return in a loooong time!
I fully don't understand the drug issue with horses? Is Baffert using drugs on Arrogate and West Coast? I have no idea what I am talking about, so don't kill me :-)
Well that settled the 3 year old race. This horse has become a serious one!
IWC has been the most inconsistent horse a person has ever seen since the Fountain of Youth....even being saddled today you could tell he didn't have it. The horse looks like he shouldn't be running in anything over $100K stake races.
I am always happy to see him do well
Demolished all foes in the Noble Damsel!
Will someone tell me what the gell happened. Im driving. Is he just not good enough or bad ride what?
Amazing performance! I feel like the Travers, Haskell and PA Derby are gonna end up replacing the Triple Crown though :(
West Coast has now convincingly beat almost all of the top 3 year olds who are still healthy and running. Looking forward to see if he has anything for GR, Collected and Arrogate.
BREAKING: Irap was pulled up injured after crossing the wire in the Pennsylvania Derby, he was loaded in an ambulance heading back to the barn. Sources on site say Irap has a possible fractured sesamoid. Prayers for Irap, will update when more information is available.
Just as I knew.....West Coast ALL THE WAY! By 6 lengths....Triple Crown Contender if there ever was one!!
Champion 3yo colt in the bag...
Powerful win for West Coast.
What a race, 3 YO Champ?
And there is your three year old champion folks.. West Coast! Dominant and brilliant today in the Penn.Derby!!!
West Coast look like he stumbled at the start.
Any possibility, given the five weeks difference, that she comes for the BC Turf after the Arc?
