Bold Choice the right choice at Indiana Downs

Tuesday's 5th race (7:40pm ET) from Indiana Downs is an Optional Claiming affair for 3-year-olds and up traveling one mile on the turf course.

#4 Bold Choice (6-1) exits a sharp late running tally in a flat mile dirt race at Ellis Park July 12. He earned his diploma on turf, which started a 3-race win streak last year. High % rider Santana is 2-for-5 with sharp local trainer Moquett and he could sit the right trip behind multiple early runners.

#2 Flattermejim (6-1) stalked and pounced his way to an easy Ellis Park turf route tally July 4 and Vance shows a profit with 46-90 day layoff runners.

#1 Easy Crossing (8-1) showed turf ability as a 3yo last year and might be ready to get back to that sharp form after a pair of respectable efforts at Colonial Downs and Mountaineer. He hails from a profitable barn and projects a cozy ground saving tactical trip.

The Plays:

$10 to win #4

.50 cent Trifecta 2-4/1-2-4/ALL ($20)

more than one person understood this race before it ran, of course AFTER there is the same one all the time
Thanks, amino998. Enjoying the mini-roll and hope to keep it going right into Travers/Pacific Classic weekend.
Pretty faint praise for a Del Mar guy who gives out a $18.60 WINNER in Indiana while going back-to-back on dark days, t_v. >> way to go, mdracing.
wow a lot better price than I would have expected.
Overall this is a good track to play no matter how mundane the prices
SOME are yes, not this one
And you told us these ID turf races were fish in a barrel T_V. Good luck, mdracing.
1 4 6 kind of stick out here, but let's see because there are no standards added this season for this track/surface, but these penny anney turf courses usuallly run like dirt.
contnders: 6 Anyriderill Do 4 Bold Choice 1 Easy Crossing 5 Stormy Going . long shot the 2...Have not played this track much so this is a best guess and there will only be a wager if a real nice price comes along.
Nice pick yesterday Jarrod...was also my pick. Today's race is a good one...full field with a chance of a price. Contenders before scratches...#3, 12, 5, 11. As always, evaluation of the favorite, #5 Stormy Going, is legitimate and the horse to beat. I will go with a stalker who has big time closing speed, #3 Burning Bush (12/1). Bet #3 to win. Exacta...3/all. Tri...3/12, 5, 11, 6/all. Good luck!!!
