Tuesday's 9th race from Sam Houston is a $7,500 claiming affair for 4-year-olds and up which have never won three races. They will be dashing five and one-half furlongs on the main track. 

#7 Even Match (8-1) tanked in 3 of his last 4 starts, but two were dirt routes and one was a turf sprint. He sports two wins and a 3rd in his last three fast track dirt sprints and looms a fresh, tactical threat at playable odds.
