Bedroom Eyes in Race 7 at Hawthorne Race Course

#8 Bedroom Eyes (20-1) rallied from last in the stretch to make up 15 lengths and beat a weaker Allowance group in her latest.  She possesses the ability to string several strong performances together and will likely see a contested pace today.  She will need her best to contend for the top spot, with her recent speed figures ranking near the bottom of this field.  It’s worth noting that jockey Tim Thornton presumably chose to ride #2 Camagin (2-1) over my selection.  I’m skeptical of Camagin at a short price, since she is 0 for 12 in 2013 against mostly weaker company.

The Play:

$2 Win, $6 Place, and $12 Show on #8 Bedroom Eyes

No return on today's wager. Bedroom Eyes made a good move around the turn, but ultimately missed the money, finishing 4th.
Bedroom Eyes, in light of the current revelation of the Lucian Lauren / Penny Chenery affair, is an excellent hunch play. Haskin's headline, "Penny Chenery Bares All in New Documentary" is scary!
  • dweems · Thanks for commenting! I checked out Haskin's article. The documentary sounds like an interesting watch. · 1113 days ago
I don't think that's scary. Good for both of them.
