Saturday's 7th race (4:11PM ET) from the Gulf is the Grade 2 Bonnie Miss for 3yo fillies traveling a mile and an eighth on the main track. I have been following
#2 Switch (4-1) in SoCal, and the lightly raced miss has always looked the part in morning drills. Sharp debut sprint tally to kick off career, and she came out of that race to finish a close 3rd versus graded foes. Tried a route of ground last time, and she was run down by divisional leader
Blind Luck in a rock solid effort. Not much pace in the paper race, and I am looking for a wire job tally under Tyler Baze. I played her in the Ky Oaks future, and let's hope my assessment of her potential is
spot on. #3 Devil May Care (4-1) is the wildcard. She threw a fit in the gate and made a middle move in disappointing Fair Grounds return. Won both of her conventional dirt starts as a juvenile and could go much better today. #6 Christine Daae (2-1) seems to have a touch of class. Speed ratings on the rise, and a stalking trip is anticipated. #5 Amen Hallelujah (8-5) looked great in a flat mile tally here last time, but that was around one turn. Pedigree profile and previous route form show that she is much better sprinting, and she'll get overbet in this spot.
