Bred to Kittens Joy for 2018
Sometimes he and will take charge seem similar to me with their running style, big bodies and long grinding strides
maybe salty can get her grade 1 finnaly
Hard Aces will remain in the Pacific Classic and not enter the Del Mar Handicap on turf, per trainer @johnwsadler,
So young, good luck to him in his retirement
Easy Goer - Only horse to ever be compared to Secretariat - Easy Goer still holds the world record for highest speed figure by a 2 yr old when he won the Champagne Stakes - Still holds the track record at a mile in the Gotham when he CRUSHED secretariats mile record by a full second , and just missing Dr Fagers WORLD record by 1/5th of a second - Easy Goer still holds highest beyer speed figure record for any Breeders cup at 124 (Shares this with Sunday Silence) - Easy Goer ran the 2nd fastest Belmont Stakes ever - Easy Goer still only horse in history to win the Belmont/Whitney/Travers/Woodward/Jockey Gold Cup while defeating older horses - Routinely ran beyers in the 120s - Easy Goer demolished fields at disntances from 6f to 1 1/2 - Pat Day rode Easy Goer like a Ferrari, holding him back and making a big move than stopping Easy Goer and making another move and it cost Easy Goer a few big races - Pat Day was too spoiled on Easy Goers back and showd Sunday Silence zero respect and it cost him - Easy Goer ran some of the most powerful easy breathtaking races over and over again - You could see why the nation was comparing him to Secretariat - Too bad ankle problems/Soundness issues and Pat Day cost this GREAT horse a bigger legacy - What a TALENT this horse was
Always loved Tiger Ride - hope she comes back
People really think he's the fastest?
So glad to see HA is running in the 2017 edition of PC. Hope he isn't last like Pizza Man last weekend. Would love to see him hit the board this year. Love this guy❤️🐎.
The status needs to be updated as "dead". What a disgrace.
Don't kid your self. Baffert has not campaigned/conditioned this horse to be any sort of real threat this year. His soul purpose will be to rabbit (Do what quiet giant couldn't) and try to make GR look as silly as Arrogate did last time. Wacky Baffy is certainly not above those sort of cheap tricks.
Doug O'Neill, with three different types of horses running, can own this race if Arrogate doesn't have a blistering stretch run, there's to much second and third quarter pace and a sacrifice early pace for Mike to run to far back. His goal is to make Arrogate and Accelerate work hard the whole race. Donsworth with Mario Gutierrez, Oneill's number one rider, will be the rabbit to burn down Accelerate and Arrogate, if he goes with the lead pack, going for the lead in the first turn. Accelerate with Victor Espinoza who knows this track and race as well as anyone and is more aggressive than Mike Smith and will take the lead in the third turn. Collected Will push the two lead horses, Accelerate and Donsworth, toward the end of the 2nd and through the third quarter. Royal albert Hall with Santa Anita Park regular, a very good distance jockey, Nakatani will set the mid pack pace With Curlin Road and Flavien Prat, a top 10 versatile jockey who rode him to a 1 1/2 mile win at Del Mar a month ago. Hard Aces and Sorry Erik will run their own races like Lookin At Lee. I think all the jockeys will try to keep Arrogate wide as possible and he'll run fifth through the first two quarters then run them all down from mid fourth turn for a track record. Or Arrogate could lead second quarter to the wire with Accelerate in tow a forgetting about a track record. One way or another Arrogate is going to win!
Loving this field, they seem fairly evenly matched. I'm hoping for Holy Helena.
Died in 2014. Brilliant horse who won or placed in 21 stakes races.
I really like this filly's pedigree and was a big fan of her dam while she was racing in Canada. Looking forward to any news on her first start.

From this morning's Racing Post web-site: The G2 Coventry Stakes winner will miss his intended first crack at G1 level in France on Sunday after a dirty scope ruled Rajasinghe out of the G1 Prix Morny at Deauville.
Well it actually seems like the 'normally gutless' Bob Baffert is going to run BOTH "Arrogate" and "Collected" in the Pacific Classic, that surprises me! But actually, thinking about it, it makes perfect sense, he is covering all the bases, think about it, if "Arrogate" flops again, he probably gets retired, and if "Collected" looks awesome and wins in a romp, then he will propell himself to joint favourite with "Gun Runner" for the BC Classic. If "Collected" doesn't stay 10f, then he will be put into the BC Dirt Mile instead of the Classic, and if "Arrogate" returns to his best and wins the Pacific Classic in a romp, then all of a sudden, normality returns and "Arrogate" will be the odds on favourite for the BC Classic. That wily old siver haired coot Baffert really is a shrewd old bugger ain't he, lol.
I wonder... is Baffert running Collected in the PC as an insurance policy, just in case Arrogate doesn't fire again? His works have been excellent and he dominated in his last race by 14 lengths. It's just curious that Baffert wouldn't point Collected elsewhere (somewhere he wouldn't have to face Arrogate) where he would be more than likely to win; unless he really didn't feel that Collected was a threat to Arrogate. Or perhaps the owners are really pushing for him to run in the PC?
  • pointgiven23 via Disqus · It's been a rollercoaster trying to figure out what Bob is doing with his older horses. I've started saying to people he's collecting dust on his trophies because you look at his barn and here's the following: Collected -1 start since April, Arrogate- 1 start since March, Mor Spirit- no races since June, Drefong- 1 race since November, Danzing Candy- 1 race since May, Cupid- 1 race this year. Granted all of them are supposed to run in the next week to 4 weeks but still what is he doing? As for Collected, he was supposed to run in the Gold Cup in May that Cupid ended up winning but Bob wasn't happy with his training so they skipped. Martin Garcia has pleaded for months for Bob to run Collected going longer and I think that had something to do with it as well as the way the horse has trained for well over the past month. Insurance, I don't buy that notion. This race is important for his stud value with no Grade 1 wins or placing's to his name as of yet. If he can get 10f then the Classic becomes an option for him in November. This race makes a lot of sense for him despite his own stablemate · 9 hours ago
