Wednesday's 9th race (5:05pm ET) from Gulfstream Park is an Optional Claiming event for 3-year-olds traveling a mile and a sixteenth on the turf course (rail at 12 feet).

#2 Midnight Notes (5-1) fell a bit farther back than usual from an outer post (7 of 9) in a similar local spot Feb 21. He lands a better post, Rosario knows him now, and he should be within hailing distance throughout at a hint of a price. He owns an ascending pattern and could spring forward 3rd off the shelf.

scratched? How did I miss that one?
2 the long shot
that was the 10th at Tampa. This is GP 10th contender line up: 9 Backseat Memories 10 Poco Man 3 Spivey 6 Pontus
off the turf makes it probably unbetable so I will guess in this order: 5 Wynn a Brew 9 Opera Star 4 Ridgeway Crescent 6 Shining Glitter
#2 was also my pick before the scratches, jarrod.
Off the turf refund. Scratch #2 Midnight Notes, #4 Scofield, #8 Over and Back, #11 Success Rate, and #12 Big Blue Sky.
Don't care for turf at GP but contenders appear to be amongst these: 9 Backseat Memories 10 Poco Man 8 Over and Back 3 Spivey longshot 5
