Sunday's 6th race from Emerald Downs is the $50,000 Pepsi Cola Hcp for 3-year-olds and up traveling a flat mile on the main track. #5 Newfound Man (3-1) easily captured both of his local starts. He has had plenty of time to recover from his May 9 seasonal bow and the place finisher came back to score. Blaine Wright is 21% with this type of short layoff runner and 19% first route, and the lightly raced gelding has plenty of upside. #4 Posse Power (6-5) exits an above par local sprint win in the slop.
