Wednesday's 7th race (5:00PM PT) from Del Mar is the $100,000 Generous Portion Stakes for CA-bred or sired 2-year-old fillies traveling six furlongs on Polytrack.

#5 Yellow Slicker (12-1) rallied to win local Maiden Claiming sprint bow and she was nabbed out of that heat by crafty low profile trainer Terry Knight. She gets pace to chase and has to move forward to compete here.

#11 Perfect Curls (7-2) has rattled off three straight in Northern California. Her last two wins were on conventional dirt but her best numbers were earned in a pair of synthetic starts to kick off her career. An outer tactical trip under Bejarano is anticipated.

#3 Miles Rules (9-2) earned strong Pace/Final Time Ratings in Hollywood wire job bow July 17 and the fresh miss dusted sharp next out winner and today's rival #7 Faisca that day. She sports a solid local five furlong drill for this.
