Wednesday's 4th race (3:40pm PT) from Del Mar is a $32,000 claiming heat for 4-year-olds and up traveling one mile on the turf course (rail at 14 feet). 

#3 Sebastian Flyte (9-2) is now under the care of quality trainer Kitchingman and Espinoza is a profitable 2-for-6 with this outfit recently. He beat $25k claimers at BHP June 8 and was 4th (beaten 1 length) in a local $40k affair July 25. The 6yo horse has won here before and has back class.

#8 Midnight Crooner (3-1) took the $100k Oceanside here last year and has run well in all four turf route claiming starts (2 wins) this year. Today's pilot Talamo booted him home May 4. 

#2 Oak Kye Why (9-2) won both of his flat mile turf races in wire job fashion this year and speed can be dangerous here with the rail set at 14 feet. He has won here before and will take them as far as he can under Mike Smith.

#6 Copper Bay (8-1) could not handle a marathon when last seen May 24. The fresh dropper adds lasix and attracts Gomez.
