Jane Peterson can bounce back on surface switch

Wednesday's 6th race (3:30pm ET) from Delaware Park is the $50,000 Christiana Stakes for 3-year-old fillies traveling one mile on the turf course.

#2 Jane Peterson (10-1) finished 5th of 7 as my value top in a $50k dirt stakes race at DelPark June 4. She has fired Trifecta shots in all four turf starts (4-1-2-1) and can rebound for the productive McCarthy-Motion team

#4 Buttercup Bay (8-1) exits a solid place finish in a local off the turf entry level affair. Profitable trainer Delacour is on a roll here (10-5-3-1) and she earned her diploma on turf.

#7 Queenie's Song (9-2) is also trained by Motion. The $350k Keeneland sales grad runs well fresh and profitable turf rider Cintron is 38% (16-race sample) with this barn.

#5 Black Elegance (4-1) easily captured both of her turf starts in Italy but she has not been seen in more than a year. The Team Valor filly clearly has talent but might need the outing.

The Plays:

$16 to win #2

.50 cent Trifecta 2, 4 with 2, 4, 5, 7 with ALL ($24)

Thanks for the Jane Peterson update, SSilence86. Glad to hear that she is doing better after a bout with colic.

Those four little words actually caused me to do a double-take earlier--I could hear the Twilight Zone music.....
That would be something, but would rather not contemplate it. Already making my mind spin. Whuddayaknowtho, weirdo alias was good for a laugh today.

Jane Peterson is a Scratch. Had a bout of Colic yesterday. Doing much better today.
Agreed that based on the ML of 10-1 Jane is the value selection. But coming back on the weeds and popular trainer Motion as the trainer. Doubt will see anything over 4-1 on the tote. If we do,i think it is a bad sign. The joker in the deck is Dance Craze. This half sister to recently stakes placed Fredericksburgh has shown signs of wanting to break out. Her immaturity showed in Florida when she got into self inflicted trouble. Ace conditioner Matz saw that she was not ready and put a halt on her. Her return race was not as they expected on May 24th. Note in her preps to that race, she missed a key workout between 5/3 and 5/17. The way she ran,it showed . Thus Matz pulling the plug again. Gave her a couple of weeks to take care of issues. What i like about the work tab this time around. He has given her 2 (5F works) AP invader on paper is almost a lay over on this ield. But that is why they run the races. So we can bet them. Picking up top jock Navarro is a major feather in her cap.
Good race, good pick, good value. Favorite #8 Battlefield Angel (7/2) is vulnerable going 3SL with hard last races. Bet #2 Jane Peterson (10/1) to win 2X Place. Great connections, and it's their race to lose. Exotics: 2/ 10, 3, 9, 1 and reverse. Good luck!!!
contenders before scratches: 8 Battlefield Angel 7 Queenie's Song 1 Debbie's Tude 10 Legal Laura 10 3 out front then 8 7 2 6 come calling later.
