Saturday's 9th race (4:51pm ET) from Delaware Park is the Grade 2 Delaware Oaks for 3-year-old fillies traveling a mile and a sixteenth on the main track.
#8 Fortune Pearl (7-2)
owns a rising numbers pattern for Motion. Her three dirt starts include a rallying place finish at the Gulf, a last-to-first Optional Claiming score at 8.5f (Pimlico), and a last out show finish in the G2 Black-Eyed Susan. The fresh filly sports four local works for this and McCarthy rode her well in her last pair.

#4 Joint Return (5-2) has a nose for the wire (5-for-8) and exits a good looking local stakes victory at a flat mile. The late runner met my top in the aforementioned Black-Eyed Susan and ended up a troubled 4th that day.
#7 Vero Amore
(8-1) had no shot from post 12 in the G1 Acorn. She just missed in the common Black-Eyed Susan and projects a decent tactical trip.
