Wednesday's 3rd race (2:11pm EDT) at Beulah Park is the bottom of the barrel, a $2,500 Claiming event for non-winners of two career races. How much lower can you go?!

Well, for what it's worth, I put this one on my "Watch List" back when he ran on March 6th at this same ($2.5k) level and (one mile) distance. That day the track was sloppy and Soul Provider went off 5-1. He was extremely wide (8-9 path) from the first turn throughout the far turn, moved to 1 length of the leader at that point, but flattened out entering the stretch to be a well beaten 4th.

In here, #5 - Soul Provider in a 6-1 M/L 5th choice among a field of six (6). If he can be no more than 3-wide throughout, he should have a chance to hit the board at a nice price.

The Play: $10 WIN and $20 PLACE #5

favored 6 is now 1/9......woof
5 might be a play over 4 to 4.5/1
4 and 2 go to the front, 5 and 6 come later.
Before scratches, but may be tough to get any odds here, the top ones, in order project: 2 Italian Guy 6 Romolo's Friar 1 Electric Stride 4 Emma Lover
The horse to beat is the favorite....#6 Romolo's Friar (7/5) a legitamate favorite who killed a field at Pen Nations last out and is dropping for this event. However, no value in the race...pass...Good luck!!!
