Mondays 8th race(4:31 pm eastern post time ) from Beulah Park if for fillies and mares nw of 2 races lifetime sprinting at 5 panels for a claiming tag $2,500.00 .  I will go with the #7-Rokee (6-1)This is her 3rd start over this strip after running at Fairmount Park this summer. She has 4 third place finishes in 9 starts this year. She has had a couple of chances to score a win this year and was a victim of bad luck and some questionable rides also . She can close a bit but needs to be hustled out of the gate to a stalking position closer to the pace than many of her trips she has gotten especially so at this 5F distance. I'm giving her 1 last chance this year to make amends as she "owes" me a few bucks. I will try to recoup some or most of it here hopefully. Nothing fancy here so my bet will be :  #7-Rokee -$40.00 to win

gelded 1-I like that you are giving my old track in Columbus a "shout-out". This was were I learned to handicap runners in the early 70's. For a small track with a light handle, they have some really nice exotic pay-outs in mostly small fields.
  • gelded1 · I play a few races there but not that many railbird33. There are a few shippers from Fairmount Park which is my home track if you will. Fairmount is located in Collinsville,Il.about 15 minutes from St. Louis MO. I live about 35 miles north of St Louis,Mo.in a small town in Illinois about 10 miles west of I-55 North. · 1424 days ago
  • gelded1 · I bet a few races there but not many at all. I try to watch for some shippers from Fairmount Park which is my home track where I gained my early horse playing trials and tribulations at age 14 or so. My father took myself and my younger brother there in our still wet-behind -the ears days. We met many owners and some trainers . The highlight of the night was getting in the winners circle picture with a friends horse thinking we were big shots . I still have a number of those pictures from the 70's mostly and get them out and look at them on occasion. · 1424 days ago
Looked at the race chart and as usual she lagged too far behind from the start and made up ground late. That's all the money I'm wasting on this one for sure.

Consistent track surface, even in bad weather, so bravo to their track crew.
