Wednesday's 7th race (4:13pm ET) from Belmont Park is an Optional Claiming affair for 3-year-olds and up dashing six furlongs on the inner turf course.

#4 Maui Mark (7-2) is a SoCal shipper returning to preferred turf footing for quality layoff trainer Hess. The 8yo gelding attracts Rosario and won a local turf sprint last summer.

Play Wednesday’s Belmont Park games at DerbyWars.com.

#3 Longhunter (8-5) exits back-to-back course/distance tallies for Calstellano/Maker and is an obvious tactical threat in his current form.

The Plays:

The favorite, #3 Longhunter is definitely the one to beat at 8-5. I won't be betting this, but I think he'll win. #4 will take second or third, I think.
Good betting race with questionable value. Contenders before scratches: #3, 4, 8 and 2. The number 4 Maui Mark (7/2) is the choice to beat the favorite #3 Longhunter (8/5), the legitimate favorite. Win bet first. Exacta: 4/all to catch a long shot second. Tri: 4/3, 8, 2, 7/ all. Good luck!!!
Thank you, jonathanpoker. I hope I don't lose. Good luck with your play. Nothing wrong with taking a shot with Hyman Roth at 20-1.
I hope you lose.
