Saturday's 8th race (4:45pm ET) from Belmont Park is the Grade II New York Stakes for fillies and mares traveling a mile and a quarter on the inner turf course.
#3 Regalo Mia (8-1) has fired Trifecta shots in 10 of 11 starts on grass including a pair of underneath finishes over the local inner turf course last year. She runs well fresh and looms a late threat for productive layoff trainer Nehei. Contreras gets along with her and the price should be right.

#7 Dream Peace (5-2) owns plenty of experience at this trip and seems to handle any footing. Rosario is 3-for-6 with sharp layoff trainer Chad Brown.
#8 Lady of Shamrock (7-2) was a beast against SoCal 3-year-old fillies in 2012 but not so much against older. She likes ten panels, will try to get involved late, and probably wants firm footing.
The remainder of the entrants come out of the Sheepshead Bay, and I question the strength of that heat, so I'll toss them all.
$16 to win #3
$8 Exacta Box 3-7 ($16)
$2 Trifecta 3-7/3-7-8/3-7-8 ($8)
