Bugsy Losty can spring forward in Hollywood finale

Thursday's 8th race (4:36pm PT) from Betfair Hollywood Park is a $50,000 Maiden Special Weight event for 2-year-olds dashing six furlongs on the turf course (rail at 10 feet).

#8 Bugsy Losty (3-1) broke slow from the rail and rallied for the show in his local 5f synthetic sprint bow. Pure Prize is a competent grass sire and Conlon excels with second time starters.

Play in Thursday Night's $500 FREE ROLL and Win Real Money on DerbyWars.com

#3 Miceli (7-2) finished a solid 3rd in his local turf sprint bow and Kitchingman does fine work with second timers.

#7 Unusual Lover (12-1) is out of fine grass sire Unusual Heat and dam has tossed a turf winner.

#9 Anytime (12-1) hails from a deadly debut outfit (Kory Owens) and aggressive pilot Pedroza will probably try to get him involved early from the outside post.

The Plays:

$18 to win #8

$1 Trifecta 3-8/3-7-8-9/3-7-8-9 ($12)

No sh, tv. I'm learning that. In the process for quite a while. Over a year, anyway.

Handicapping ( a right brain function) is totally differnent to wager creation (a left brain function) These are mutually exclusive abilities.

Handcaipping is NOT the restrictive aspect in the pick 6: CAPITALIZATION is!

jmac, I think it's fun to try the various wagers, just using "fun" money. I don't ever get that whole idea that only syndicates can win the p6. That a large group would have more funds is understandable but why shouldn't a good handicapper be able to hit these?

I have spoken to mutuels managers in three different parts of North Ameica and they ahve all said the same thing:"If you want real frustration along with destorying your bankroll, play the pick 6 UNDER FUNDED....Crist makes a big suggestion that capitlaiztion is one of the priorities that must be confronted in any horizontal wagering. I know of one pick 6 group in Vancouver where EACH participant put in 10K...These are the ones who get the deep tickets that win often enough to keep them from going bust, not the rank and file fans.

sorry for the horrible grammer.

The only track i've hit a pick 3 or higher is Thistledown.

tv, the p6 can be played for under $150 and 5of 6 often brings that much, at least. Not today with many favs winning, but I've sen it many times. I would suggest only playing a track/circuit one is familiar with.

For play, and believe me has cost me more trouble than pleasure by far for several reasons, I had all six winners in the SA 3/10 p6. I almost wish I hadn't sometimes. 4 of 6 today, tv. My picks are at ntra.com. If you want the link to the time-stamped p6 from March, let me know. Today was the first time I put money on one of these. lol, maybe $32 next time.
