Thursday's 8th race (4:37pm PT) from Betfair Hollywood Park is a $52,000 Maiden Special Weight event for CA-bred or sired 3-year-olds and up traveling a mile and a sixteenth on the turf course.

#6 Somethings Unusual (6-1) is on the upswing for Donald Warren. He was an improved 3rd from an outer post vs. this kind April 7 and the winner came back to score again. Tyler Baze knows him now and the lightly raced 5yo gelding should be finishing at a hint of a price.

#7 Red Globe (7-2) dons the hood and attracts aggressive pilot Maldonado. The fresh sophomore gelding earned an improved number second time out.

The Plays:

$18 to win #6

$12 Quinella 6-7
