Sunday's 8th race (4:41pm PT) from Betfair Hollywood Park is a $12,500 claiming event for 3-year-olds and up dashing five and one-half furlongs on Cushion Track.

#3 Afleet Cowboy (4-1) landed the show in both synthetic starts and drops to a new low. Spawr excels 3rd off the shelf and the 2-3 finishers from his last both came back to score.

Play Sunday’s Betfair Hollywood Park games at DerbyWars.com.

#1 Slycy (5-1) is a former Golden Gate synthetic sprint specialist now under the care of sharp SoCal trainer Puype. Talamo shows a profit with this barn and the inside early-pressing threat ran well in both starts at this trip.

#7 Don Perico (3-1) has never raced this low and is probably the target under Bejarano. He is 0-for-4 here.

#8 Valkyrie Missile (8-1) was re-claimed out of his last by Heap. The 5-time local winner makes his first start in more than nine months.

#4 Gallant Gent (7-2) makes his first start in 11+ months and his last win was at this level.

#6 Red Jag (4-1) drops, switches surfaces, and puts the hood back on.

The Plays:

$12 to win #3

$6 Quinella 1-3
