Tuesday's 6th race (2:45pm EST) at Aqueduct is a Maiden Special Weight event for two year olds foaled in New York and is contested on the inner dirt surface. 

#3 Forged (7-2) took action in his debut when sent off as the 2-1 PT 2nd choice, stumbled badly out of the gate, though not noted by the chart caller. He made a nice middle move, but Ortiz recognized his mount had too much work to do, so he just gave him an education, then allowed the gelded son of Posse to finish the final 1/16th on his own courage. Pletcher gives Cornelio Velasquez the mount today.
