Tiz the Argument back on inner dirt for Dutrow

Wednesday's 8th race (3:48pm ET) from Aqueduct is the $80,000 Jameela Stakes for fillies and mares traveling one mile on the inner dirt.

#5 Tiz the Argument (4-1) showed signs of life when last seen at Laurel in Sept. She romped in her lone inner dirt start and the fresh filly should sit a decent tactical trip for the productive Alvarado/Dutrow team.

Play Wednesday's $1,000 Aqueduct/Gulfstream game at DerbyWars.com.

#3 Opus A (7-2) enjoys this distance and owns four inner dirt wins. She might get brave if able to shake loose early and should move forward 2nd off the shelf.

#7 Moon Philly (5-2) is an obvious outside tactical threat if she transfers her recent Penn National form to the Big A. She has had a long year, has no inner dirt experience, and might be worth trying to beat at underlaid odds.

The Plays:

$18 to win #5

$6 Exacta Box 3-5 ($12)

Nice pick, Jarrod!

3 straight POD winners. This one paid a less than stellar $4.60. Going for four-bagger at BHP on Thursday.

gutsy race, fun to WATCH
travel_vic | 12/12/2012 2:51 PM |  - Re: Tiz the Argument back on...
that is 2 to 5/2
travel_vic | 12/12/2012 2:34 PM |  - Re: Tiz the Argument back on...
no odds as three of them are now in the 2 to 6/2 range
travel_vic | 12/12/2012 2:32 PM |  - Re: Tiz the Argument back on...
5 did run versus the fastest pace of race of any other in the contest, 3 4 5 are the best to the first fraction, then 3 and 5 are all alone at the 2nd call.

I would downgrade late movers on the inner at the Big A

3 and 5 make the pace and then 1 6 7 come a running......Odds will tell
travel_vic | 12/12/2012 1:52 PM |  - Re: Tiz the Argument back on...
I am really really confident with the #7 - Moon Philly, I think she will be sitting off the pace and come with a bug run. My plays would be $10 exactas 7 over the 1-5 and $5 tripple keys 7 over the 1-5. Even though the 7's gonna be short, I think she def' the one to beat.

Contenders: #5, 1, 7, 3. #5 Tiz The Argument (4/1) has the best pace and distance figues in the bunch. Terrific connections and horse had trouble in its last race. Bet #5 to win. Exactas....5/all. Doubles in and out...all/5....5/all. Tri...5/1, 7, 3, 2/all. Good luck with a good pick today!!!
